Lawyers here on Saturday observed a token strike to press the government for a Lahore High Court (LHC) division bench in the city.
According to a spokesman of the District Bar Association, the LHC bench was a genuine demand of the people of Faisalabad.
The DBA, he said, had been observing strike for two days – Friday and Saturday – in a week. However, now the association has decided to observe complete strike on every Friday, Saturday and Monday besides not attending courts after 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, he added.
