The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) anti-encroachment operation on Friday met stiff resistance from traders resulting in a violent clash in Sector G-10.
Windowpanes of several vehicles were broken as traders pelted stones at the CDA machinery.
CDA initiated operation by removing goods placed outside shops, which led to a clash with traders. The violence resulted in postponement of the anti-encroachment operation.
According to the traders, the operation was launched without any prior notice.
