Police on Thursday finalized security arrangements and sealed all routes heading towards sea view to avoid any untoward incident in Karachi.
According to police spokesman, as many as 3400 police personnel will be deployed in Sea View and suburban areas.
On the other hand, large numbers of citizens have started reaching at the sea, while citizens said that the New Year would be a year of peace and prosperity.
According to police, all routes heading towards Sea View would be closed for traffic from the evening, while the violators of Section 144 would be put behind the bars.
