Price of high speed diesel reduced by Rs 3, light diesel by Rs 8.29, kerosene oil by Rs 8.7
The government on Thursday slashed the prices of high speed diesel, light diesel and kerosene oil for the next month.
Announcing reduction in prices at a news conference, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the price of high speed diesel had been reduced by Rs 3 to Rs 80.79 from Rs 83.79, light diesel by Rs 8.29 to Rs 44.94 from Rs 53.23 and kerosene oil by Rs 8.7 from Rs 56.32 to Rs 48.25 rupees.
The finance minister said that the prices of petrol and high octane were being maintained at the current level of Rs 76.26 and Rs 80.66 respectively.
The minister said that the government had also prepared a scheme for the filers and non-filers of tax returns, which would be presented in the National Assembly today (Thursday).
