FIA rounds up 6 human traffickers in Punjab, Islamabad

 

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested six human traffickers including notorious outlawed during separate actions across Punjab province and Islamabad on Thursday and recovered passports and other documents from their possession.

The sources said that a team of the investigation agency conducted operations against elements in human smuggling in Joharabad, Khushab, Gujranwala and Sialkot.

During separate actions, the FIA managed to round up five human traffickers involved in sending people abroad through illegal means. Passports and other documents were recovered from their possession and they were being interrogated after registering cases against them.

Meanwhile, the FIA has detained a notorious human smuggler Raja Shafiq.

The FIA Islamabad Zone carried out a raid and apprehended notorious human smuggler Raja Shafiq, who made more than 250 people to acquire United States visas through fake documents.
