PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujat Hussain has said Premier Nawaz Sharif should take the nation into confidence regarding his meeting with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
Commenting over Nawaz-Modi meeting, he said that office of the prime minister is a public property and people have the right to question any action of the PM, whether it is personal or official. He questioned how it possible that the Indian prime minister comes to Pakistan quietly and then leaves.
“It is unbelievable that the Indian PM had come only to cut a cake. Nawaz Sharif should have first cut cake of the Quaid-i-Azam,” he said.
“Doubts have arisen on issuance of no statement after Nawaz -Modi meeting as 150 Indians were roaming in Lahore without visa. What kind of security is this and what national interest is there? The nation should be apprised about real facts of this meeting,” he held.
