A woman attempted self-immolation in reaction to police humiliating attitude against her here on Tuesday.
Rescue sources said that a dejected woman owing to humiliating attitude of police set herself on fire after dousing with petrol.
She was rushed to hospital where according to medics her condition was serious as 60 percent of her body was burnt.
The police after registering a case into the incident have started investigations.
