At least nine people were killed and four others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Kohistan and Attock
According to police sources, a van was on its way from Gilgit to Swat plunged into a deep ravine at Tarez Banda Kero in district Kohistan’s Pattan tehsil, killing five people on the spot.
Police said one person also sustained injuries. The dead and injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
In another accident, four persons including a woman and minor girl were killed while three others were injured when a car was hit by a bus near Attock. The deceased and injured were shifted to hospital for legal formalities.
