Tennis superstar Aisamul Haq laid foundation stone of a tennis court at Pakistan Sweet Homes in connection with Quaid-e-Azam Week celebrations.
Pakistan Sweet Homes management has decided to name the court Aisamul Haq Long Tennis Court.
A colorful event, coupled with various sports and cultural programmes, was hosted on the occasion. Various recreational activities were arranged for the children. A Taekwondo competition among the children was the highlight of the event where the PSH children exhibited their skills, said a press release.
Zamurd Khan, whose Pakistan Sweet Homes has set up centres for over 3,000 orphan kids, was also present on the occasion.
“People say that cricketers and showbiz personalities are the heroes,” Aisam said, and added, “But today I have realised that the real hero is Zamurd Khan. I am totally inspired by his vision. I will stand with the orphan kids of Pakistan with everything I’ve got. They are the real heroes.”
