Local police arrested a woman fraudster and recovered over Rs two million from her during a raid here on Sunday.
The police on a tip-off conducted a raid in Pindora Chungi locality of Rawalpindi during which a woman involved in fraud cases in Pakistan and abroad, wanted by police in several cases was apprehended.
The police also managed to recover Rs 2,100,000 from possession of the detainee who was being interrogated after registering a case against her at the respective police station.
It should be mentioned here that the husband of the nabbed is already in custody of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in a case of financial fraud. The couple reportedly after committing fraud of foreign currency equivalent to Rs.10 million abroad returned back.
