Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi from Lahore on Monday morning on a day-long visit to the port city.
The prime minister was received at the airport by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad, and other senior officials.
He was accompanied by federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Khurram Dastagir, and Khawaja Asif.
According to a local media, PM has arrived in Karachi to review work on various developmental projects of Port Qasim Authority and Port Qasim Power Project.
He will personally inspect the site of Port Qasim Power Project. He will also address members of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
