Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that government attaches high priority to national interests over political ones.
He was addressing a ceremony held here on Monday in connection with the 43rd martyrdom day of Khawaja Muhammad Rafique. He said the government attaches priority to the national interest instead of politics. The minister said democracy has been strengthened during the past two and a half years of the present government.
He lauded Army, Rangers and police for rendering valuable sacrifices for peace in Karachi. He said peace in Balochistan is the achievement of the Baloch leaders.
Asif said the PML-N has confidence of the people and the journey of national development will continue.
