To farm grand political alliance against Nawaz government, Chaudhry brothers have contacted former interior minister Makhdoom Faisal Salah Hayat and invited him to form grand alliance and to play active role in it, it has been learnt.
Sources told Online that former Governor Punjab Sardar Zulifqar Khosa, former Interior Minister Sindh Zulifqar Mirza, close relative of premier Nawaz Sharif, Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan could be the part of anti government political alliance. PTI and PPP have already announced its protest against PML-N government.
“Faisal Salah Hayat got landslide victory in recent local government polls in districts Jhang and Chaniot and his Makhdoom Group is in position to get the slot of chairmanship in both districts”, sources added.
Faisal Hayat when contacted expressed willingness to play the role for the law and order in the country and to setup pleasant, friendly political environment. He however denied commenting on any role in anti-government grand alliance.
It is worth-mentioning here that there were close and friendly relations between Chaudhry brothers and Faisal Hayat and Faisal Hayat had been parliamentary leader of PML-Q in the former regime.
When Online contacted spokesperson of Chaudhry brothers, he refused to comment in this regard.
