Local police, in different raids on illegal gas re-filling points, on Sunday arrested five persons for refilling gas illegally and seized filling instruments from their possessions.
According to the details, Waris Khan Police conducted the raid and arrested Arab Gul, Faizan and Akram while Gujar Khan Police held Usman on the charges and Kahuta Police nabbed Mukhtar for the same besides recovering instruments from his custody.
Police have registered separate cases against all of them and started investigation.
Meanwhile, Regional Police Officer RPO Fakhar Sultan Raja has directed to launch crackdown against the illegal business of refilling gas cylinders.
