Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday lashed out at the federation over the issue of Rangers’ special powers saying that they won’t let it ‘invade’ Sindh.
Addressing the party workers and supporters on Sunday, Shah said his ‘love’ had been taken advantage of but this won’t continue in future. He said one person had no authority to set aside the decision of Sindh Assembly.
The CM said no one could dare looking at Sindh with bad intention, and if anyone did, they would gouge out his eyes. Directing criticism at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he said: “Stop your Ch Nisar. His orders are of no use.” He said every institution must work within the ambit of constitution.
Meanwhile, while addressing the 8th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, he said Sindh was now peaceful as the PPP government was committed to restoring normalcy to the city. The chief minister said his government had cooperated with the army chief and the prime minister and they wanted supremacy of the constitution.
He paid glowing tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for sacrificing her life for the country and nation, and vowed to safeguard the democracy and constitution.
