The most eligible bachelor of Bollywood, Salman Khan, turned 50 on 27 December.

The superstar threw a birthday bash for his close friends and family at his Panvel home. Bollywood A-listers and renowned names from other fields were present to celebrate the golden jubilee of Bhaijaan, according to Pinkvilla.

Social media was taken by storm with exclusive highlights from the star-studded night. However, the biggest surprise of the night was the presence of Salman’s rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur.

Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Amrita Arora at their best:

Amisha Patel, Anil Kapoor, Tennis star Sania Mirza, choreographer Farah Khan and actress Tabu were among the present.

It was a fun night as Riteish Deshmukh isn’t yet done with spoofing Deepika Padukone-Vin Diesel selfie spotted with wife Genelia Deshmukh.

Bollywood singer Mika Singh was also spotted with Sophie Choudry and Chitrangada Singh.

Salman’s old friend and former actress Neelam Kothari attended the bash with husband Sameer Soni.

Salman had cut the cake in the presence of his family. Sisters Alvira Agnihotri and Arpita Sharma stood next to their proud brother while Sohail Khan sung Happy Birthday alongside their mother.

Few pictures surfaced on the social media in which the Romanian beauty can be spotted in the background. These pictures add depth to the news of their budding romance.

The superstar who resides in millions of hearts received good wishes and prayers from fans across the world. Members of Bollywood fraternity also extended their well wishes on social media, including Shahruhk Khan.

 A fan sums Salman’s journey

One of his fan, an Indian sand artist who raised the bar with his mind-blowing tribute to the actor’s 50 years of excellence. In his three and a half-minute video titled 50 years of Salman Khan in 200 seconds, he pays ode to the actor by drawing some of the actor’s groundbreaking achievements with sand!

Right from his birth on 27 December 1965 to his Bollywood career and humanitarian acts, the artist creates some breathtaking illustrations while Salman’s voice notes play in the background.

Directed by Rahul Arya, the video makes use of iconic scenes from his blockbusters including Maine Pyaar Kiya, Karan Arjun, Hum Aapke Hain Kon, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and his latest hit Bajrangi Bhaijaan among others.

It also sheds light on his philanthropic efforts where he has helped millions with his charity organisation Being Human and lent a helping hand to many Bollywood new comers.

Despite facing critical health issues, Salman continued to entertain us for years and that makes him one of the biggest stars in the history of Bollywood.
