Justice Arshad Mahmood Tabassum, a sitting judge of Lahore High Court (LHC), passed away of heart attack here on Sunday.
Tabassum suffered hearth stroke on early Sunday morning which proved fatal and he expired before reaching hospital.
The deceased was born on October 15, 1959 in district Rawalpindi. He got Masters Degree from Punjab University Lahore and did LLB from International Islamic University Islamabad. In 1986, he was enrolled in Punjab Bar Council (PBC) and started practice as lawyer in 1988.
He did law practice for 12 years and during his carrier served as lawyer in district courts, federal Shariah Court and the LHC. He also remained member of District Bar Association Rawalpindi (DBAR) and Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHBA).
Tabassum was appointed judge of LHC on October 29, 2013 and his tenure was till October 14, 2021 but he passed away of heart attack before retirement.
