The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Friday held a protest against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Pakistan.
In his address, JI chief Sirajul Haq, who was leading the protest demonstration, severely criticised Narendra Modi’s visit to Pakistan and termed the Indian leader a murderer and short-sighted person.
He said that the visit of Modi, who he called the murderer of Muslims in Gujarat, was not favourable to Pakistan as India had imposed three wars on Pakistan and never accepted its existence.
The JI chief said that Pakistani cricket officials were maltreated in India and it was also unwilling to resume cricket with Pakistan. He said friendship with India was not possible until the issue of Kashmir was resolved.
