A 15-year-old girl was gang-raped on Saturday after being drugged in a guest house in the Mall Road, local media reported.
The teenager who is a resident of Multan Road, was brought to Services Hospital where reports of initial medical tests revealed that the girl had been subjected to rape.
Station House Officer (SHO) Ahmad Usman told local media that the girl was first kidnapped by unidentified men before she was taken to a guest house in the Mall Road area.
“The girl was drugged and later six to eight men gang-raped her,” added SHO Usman.
The victim was also tortured physically, stated the SHO.
Her family received a message from the perpetrators after the incident, asking them to come and pick her up from a spot.
Police has arrested six suspects in connection with the gang-rape while two to three main suspects have managed to flee, stated the SHO.
The victim is a student of 8th grade. She is receiving treatment in a hospital.
