At least 15 terrorists, including two commanders of a banned outfit, on Thursday surrendered before security forces and handed over their weapons to them.
According to security sources, the ongoing operation against terrorists across Kurram Agency forced the terrorists to lay down their arms.
During the operation, at least 15 terrorists, including two commanders, hailing from Tehreek-e-Taliban Fazl Saeed group surrendered before the security forces. The terrorists have also handed over their weapons to the security forces.
Meanwhile, some unidentified miscreants attacked with hand grenade at FC check post located in Shalman gate in Landi Kotal tehsil of Khyber Agency on Thursday.
According to sources, some unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade at frontier corps check post and managed to flee from the scene. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported in the attack.
The security forces cordoned off the entire area and launched search operation for hunting the miscreants.
