Police convert million of rupees dacoity into few lakhs

The capital police have converted millions of rupees dacoity into few lakh rupees and also freed three accused involved in the incident.

As per details, Azim Chaudhry, owner of recruitment agency and resident of sector G-13, an area of Police Station Golra told police that five armed dacoits entered his house forcefully and made hostage the women on gun point. They took away all the valuables, including 14 tola gold, Rs. 57 lac cash, six costly mobile phones, and luxury vehicles and even snatched the gold from the women, 9 MM pistol and dozens of pistol bullets and managed to escape from scene peacefully.

Azim Chaudhry further stated that the local police was informed soon after the incident “The police rushed to crime scene and after examining registered the case immediately”, he added. Chaudhry added and maintained that police have indicated the dacoity was for only Rs. 2 million and made First Information Report (FIR) controversial.

He alleged that police has registered the case while changing the facts and despite his repeated request, police did not pay heed to his request.

The investigation officer (IO) Sub-Inspector Zamir Hussain told Online that it was true that dacoity was done but it could not be determined the actual value of loss so far. Responding to a question, the I.O said that this crime incident should not be highlighted in media as its investigation can be effected.

Police has converted millions of rupees dacoity into just Rs. 2millions and three accused allegedly involve in the incident have been discharged from the case.
