The Sindh Police will make extra-ordinary security arrangements on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas.
Sindh Inspector General of Police Ghulam Haider Jamali has directed the officials to make strict security arrangements around Churches and missionary schools, said a press release issued on Thursday.
He ordered the officials to coordinate with the organisers of programmes which would be held in connection with Christmas. The police chief further said that besides the important government authorities, a large number of public also visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam.
In this connection, he directed the officials to make effective security arrangements in surroundings of the mausoleum. He ordered to ensure sweeping and clearance of Mazar-i-Quaid by the bomb disposal squad. Besides this, the IGP ordered to increase patrolling, snap checking and police picketing across the province.
