Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak greeting the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas has vowed for taking solid steps for welfare of minorities residing in the provinces.
In his felicitation message to Christian community of KP, Pervez Khattak said that all the minorities including Christians were integral part of our Muslim society while their welfare was foremost duty of every Muslim state.
He said that Pakistani nation is rightly proud of its minorities and the Christian community in particular for their valuable services in various walks of life. He expressed satisfaction over how the government and people of KP equally shared their jubilations on this auspicious event.
Paying tribute to the Christian community on their constructive role in upbringing of Pakistani society, Khattak said the way Muslims and Christians share their grief on tragic incidents clearly indicates that we all are one and united nation. He said participation of Muslim community in Xmas functions also reflect the affection of the nation.
