The Rawalpindi Education Department has issued show cause notices to 1,100 male and female teachers for poor results in the mid-term examination.
They have been summoned on 28 December for initiation of departmental action against them. These teachers have been divided into four categories for initiation of proceedings against them. The teachers and head teacher, who have shown zero result, will be sacked and those who have shown 10 per cent result will be punished.
