The Rawalpindi police have started surveying tenants and Afghan nationals under National Action Plan (NAP).

A police source said that teams have been set up for verification of the tenants, their activities and their source of income to determine whether or not they were involved in anti-social and terrorist activities.

A special form has been provided to the surveying police teams to get complete details of the tenants and Afghan refugees after a door-to-door of the residents, the source further said.

When contacted, superintendent of police Potohar Town Attiq Tahir said that the survey aimed at colleting details of tenants to prepare a database to determine the number of tenants and Afghan refugees and to further know that they may not be involved in anti-social activities.
