Armed men gunned down a policeman over old enmity here on Wednesday and escaped the scene of crime.
Police said that armed men opened indiscriminate fire on police constable with whom they were in old rivalry killing him on the spot and sped away after committing the murder.
The body was shifted to a hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case against the murderers have started raids for their arrest.
