Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday sacked two Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials over negligence.

The minister had taken notice on a report about a female passenger traveling to Dubai on her son’s passport through PIA, the national flag carrier.

The minister directed FIA Director Usman Anwar to sack Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Ali Anjum and Constable Muhammad Tanveer who allowed the woman to travel to Dubai using her son’s passport.

On the other hand, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also took notice of the incident and issued show cause notices to officials who showed negligence.
