Recruitment of female investigation officers in ACD delayed again

The recruitment of female investigation officers in Anti-Corruption Department (ACD) Rawalpindi region has been delayed once again.

Sources in this regard said that number of government employees in various departments have increased across the district. Owing to which number of complaints against women employees of govt. departments have also increased.

“This duty was being done by lady officers deputed in ACD on deputation from different departments”, sources added and maintained that due to non-appointment of women investigation officers in Rawalpindi region, the ACD has to face severe problems in investigation and arrests of women govt employees involved in different crimes.

The sources further revealed that summery has been sent to Director General ACD Punjab for the recruitment of women Assistant Director including Sub-Inspector and other personnel but theses posts have not been fulfilled so far owing to financial constraints and lack of budget, the sources concluded.
