The police arrested three accused involved in stealing electricity transformers and recovered the stolen transformers and other equipment here on Saturday.
The police on a tip-off conducted operation against the gang of robbers involved in stealing electric transformers in Daudzai area of the provincial capital Peshawar. During operation three culprits involved in the crime were arrested with stolen transformers and other equipment used for pulling down the transformers.
In the preliminary interrogation the nabbed culprits revealed that they often conduct crime during late night and during load-shedding hours. The police took the recovered material into custody and after registering a case against the detainees have started the investigation.
