National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq Satyrday Saturday inaugurated the 392th urs of Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib.
Officials of the Auqaf department and a large number of devotees were also present on the occasion. Special prayers were also offered for progress and stability of the country.
The Auqaf department has allocated special grant of Rs 600,000 for free meals during the urs.
Religious and spiritual meetings will be held while Ulema will threw light on the teachings of Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib during the urs.
Police have made foolproof security arrangements for devotees and visitors.
