The Lahore High Court Friday disposed off more than 100 petitions against Asim Malik, chief executive officer of Future Concern, after being informed that the challans had been submitted in trial court against the accused following registration of cases.
The single bench comprising Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi was hearing the petitions filed by Malik Sarood and others.
During the hearing, Deputy Director Federal Investigation Agency Mehboob Ahmad appeared before the court and submitted that a total of 163 cases were registered against Asim Malik and challans had been submitted in the trial court concerned.
He further submitted that payments were being made to affectees after auction of Asim’s property in the country.
At this, the court disposed off the petitions and directed petitioners to approach the trial court. The petitioners had alleged that they had given money to the company chief executive officer for going abroad, but they were defrauded. They said Asim Malik neither sent them abroad nor returned their hard-earned money.
