National Assembly Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah on Thursday said that it is ironic that Dr Asim Hussain’s video was provided to the interior minister but not to Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.
He criticised the government while talking to the media in Sukkur.
Shah said that special powers for the Rangers had not been curbed. The party was only asking that the ‘captain of the aircraft be taken into confidence’. Why is the federal government only focused on Sindh, but sparing terrorists and their facilitators in other provinces, he asked.
He said that Dr Asim Hussain’s matter in being heard in court and the decision would also come from the court. The opposition leader appealed to stakeholders to avoid making the extension a controversial issue.
While talking about the Army Public School massacre’s first anniversary on Wednesday, Shah said that the nation would not let its young die in vain.
