Court hearings have become an escape strategy for criminals as another attempted murder accused managed to flee from Lahore High Court after rejection of interim bail plea on Friday.
According to reports, the Police produced a murder accused before the LHC. After the court rejected his bail plea, neither the police nor the investigation officer handcuffed the alleged murderer and let him escape.
This is not the first time when an accused has escaped from the court premises. In the last two months, more than 17 criminals have fled from court premises after their interim bail pleas were turned down.
The culprits were apprehended in different crimes including drugs smuggling, open brawl and attempted murder.
However, the police authorities have not taken any action against the law enforcers responsible.
