An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of police was stabbed and injured by another police official in Sihala College Hostel.
Basharat Saleem, an ASI of the Lahore police, lodged a complaint with the Sihala police that his roommate, Arshad Safdar, an ASI of the Rawalpindi police, argued with him and stabbed him with a dagger. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
