One passenger died and 15 others were injured in collision of coach and van here on Thursday.
Police said that a Hangu bound over speeding passenger coach collided head-on with a van near Usterzai Upper at Kohat-Hangu Road.
One passenger identified as Khaista Khan died in the accident while 15 others including Ramzan Shah, Zalmey Khan, Fazal Hadi, Amanullah, Muhammad Fiaz, Muhammad Arif, Tasneem Fatima, Beenish, Faizan, Aqeel Zareen, Lahl Gulzada, Akhtar Gul, Razzaq Gul, Fazal Nabbi, Ghulam Nabbi and Taleem Ali were injured. The body and injured were shifted to Kohat Divisional KDA Hospital where condition of some wounded people was said to be critical.
The police took both vehicles into custody and after registering a case into the incident have stated an investigation.
