Former military ruler General (r) Pervez Musharraf has expelled senior lawyer and leader of his All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Ahmed Raza Kasuri from his party for violating party constitution, said a statement issued on Thursday.
According to the statement, party membership of Kasuri has also been annulled by the APML chief. Citing reason for his removal, the statement said Ahmed Raza Kasuri introduced himself as vice chairman of the APML in violation of party’s constitution.
It said the no appointment has been made on the slot of vice chairman since August last year. Speaking to a news channel, Kasuri said: “I am still part of APML, nobody could expel me,” he said.
