Five female students drowned in dam while several others were rescued alive after collision of motorboats here on Thursday.
Rescue sources said that the girls hailing from Chakwal had come to Khanpur Dam, in district Haripur on school leisure trip and were enjoying the ride when all of sudden two motorboats collided. The bodies of the deceased were fished out later and transported to Chakwal.
