The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) seized a huge quantity of dead meat and arrested three culprits during a raid here on Wednesday.
A team of PFA along with police raided a slaughter house in Township area of the provincial capital Lahore during which three accused were arrested with huge quantity of dead meat.
The PFA sources said that the dead meat was brought from Okara and was to be supplied to the butchers of the city but timely action of the authority foiled the bid.
A case has been registered against the nabbed culprits and they were being interrogated.
