This is with reference to an ad I recently saw in the newspapers regarding the delay in the completion of Malir 15 Flyover. I am a resident of Quaidabad, which is in direct proximity of the flyover in question.
When the government and relevant authorities decided to build the Malir Flyovers in 2014, we were very excited that at last there was a solution to the constant traffic jams, pollution and security issues. And that the construction of the flyover will make it easier and convenient for the residents to commute.
However, the delay in the completion of Malir 15 Flyover, even after two years, has become a cause for distress to me and my neighbours. This dire situation is not only causing severe traffic jams and damaging the environment, but is affecting business activities as well. On top of it, armed robberies, extortion and mobile snatching has also increased.
So I implore the Sindh government and the relevant authorities to have mercy on the residents and commuters alike. Please relieve us from this misery and complete the construction of Malir Flyover 15.
