Aitzaz Ahsan of the Pakistan People’s Party and Mushahidullah of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) exchanged hot words in the Senate on Tuesday.

Aitzaz Ahsan said that Mushahidullah was asked to take the stress position just over a statement. “We made a mistake by saving the government in the sit-in,” he said.

Mushahidullah said that Aitzaz Ahsan had received the LPG quotas worth millions of rupees during the Musharraf era.

Meanwhile in the National Assembly, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq threatened to throw MNA Jamshed Dasti out of the House after a heated argument between the two.

As the Speaker Ayaz Sadiq presided over a National Assembly session, MNA Jamshaid Dasti started protesting for granting him permission to address the House relating to the issue of Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) privatization.

Following the MNA’s protest, the speaker of the House had a verbal fight and the speaker threatened to throw him out of the parliament.

Ayaz Sadiq said that he is blocking a “Tehreek-e-Istehqaq” against him on which Jamshaid Dasti said that you can bring the movement but grant me permission to talk after which the Speaker switched off the mike of the MNA.
