Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah Monday said that his party would protest in the Lower House of the parliament against Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s “threatening statement”.
He was talking to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
The chief minister briefed Khursheed Shah over the issue pertaining to extending the Rangers’ policing powers in Karachi.
The opposition leader said that Chaudhry Nisar is creating an environment of sit-ins by issuing “threatening statements”.
He said the Sindh government is serious in granting an extension to the Rangers.
It is pertinent to mention here that Nisar had threatened to share a video recording of Dr Asim Hussain where he is allegedly confessing to the charges against him.
