Quetta: Security forces thwart terrorist plot by defusing bombs

A danger of massive proportions was averted in Quetta after security forces thwarted terrorists’ plots by defusing two bombs. One alleged suspect was also taken into custody during the operation and has been shifted to an undisclosed location.

According to details, Security forces raided a house in Hazar Gunji area and recovered 5kgs of explosive material.

Another separate bomb was recovered from a rail track little distance away from Quetta’s railway station near Sariab railway crossing. The 5kg explosive material was then defused. Terrorists wanted to target Jaffar Express bound for Rawalpindi, sources claimed.
