Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Monday ordered an inquiry against Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Additional Medical Superintendent for his refusal to allow hospital’s ambulance to shift an injured SPSF office bearer to Karachi.
SPSF, Larkana President Kamran Odhano complained to Shah on Sunday evening that about one and a half months ago, Zafar Rahujo was critically injured in a road accident and he was rushed to CMCH.
The duty doctors described his condition as very critical and doctors suggested to shift him to Karachi for which they asked Dr Muzaffar Chandio alias Adeeb Inqilabi, Additional Medical Superintendent of CMCH, to provide a government ambulance, but he kept stalling, due to which the injured man expired.
The chief minister directed Commissioner Ghulam Akbar Laghari and Deputy Commissioner Larkana Javed Jagirani to conduct a probe and submit a detailed report immediately. Odhano further complained to the CM that Larkana’s hospitals had failed to deliver despite allocation of millions of rupees annually.
There is still a lot is needed to be made in this regard if they really wanted to bring around some of the necessary reforms for the betterment which would help them for the future. personal statement internal medicine
