Budget bomb

Our country gets a national budget every year. As has been seen over the past many years, when the budget comes it brings with it price hikes in almost every sector. The same happened this year too. But while the public was still dealing with price increases of the annual budget, another bomb has been dropped on the poor people via what is being described as a ‘mini budget’.

It has been revealed that this mini-budget was imposed because the government was not recovering its tax revenues, so they thought of an innovative method of coming down with another budget. The result is that the sufferings of the common man have further increased and prices have shot up in different segments such as household products, consumer products, car prices, TV sets, home appliances, cosmetics, etc. The government is certainly not doing anything for the people.
