At least 46 suspected people including afghan nationals were arrested during search operation in various parts of the Peshawar on Monday.
According to police sources, the joint operation was conducted by Peshawar police and intelligence agencies under the House Rent Act in various areas of the Peshawar. As many as 46 suspects including afghan citizens who are illegally staying in the area were apprehended during door to door search operation.
The weapons and drugs were also recovered from the arrested suspects who were shifted to undisclosed place for investigation.
Meanwhile, police has arrested two suspected terrorists from a house in Methra area of Peshawar.
On a tip off, police raided a house and explosive materials and two bombs, two rockets launcher and two mortar shells were also recovered from their possession.
