The body of a woman was found within the Aabpara police jurisdiction.
A passer-by spotted the body in the bushes along a road in the Shakarparian area and informed police, which took the body into custody and shifted it to a local hospital for post mortem.
The woman was identified as Ulfat, 45, who hailed from Sector G-7/2 Islamabad. The cause of the death could not be ascertained immediately.
The police have registered a case and started investigation.
