Seven outlaws rounded up

Islamabad police have arrested seven outlaws including two dacoits and recovered three vehicles, snatched cash and valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Bhara Kahu police station registered a case about snatching cash and mobile phones by unknown men from a citizen, Salahuddin, on 4 Dec. Following this report, SP (Saddar) Rizwan Umer Gondal constituted a special team headed by DSP Sardar Mustafa including ASI Muhammad Iqbal and others. This team nabbed Umer resident of Chak No.90 Sargodha, Sami Uddin resident of Nowshera and recovered snatched cash Rs. 120,000 and cell phones from them.

Police got their physical remand from concerned court and further investigation is underway.

Kohsar police nabbed Tariq Mughal and Tahir Iqbal in theft case while Shalimar and Sihala police nabbed Yunus, Nek Habib and Tauqeer for selling petroleum products illegally. Ramana police recovered a tempered car (LXV-214) from accused, Zarghon Shah, while another tempered car was recovered from Kamran Ayub (DT-560) from Sardar Ali Khan by Industrial area police.

Investigation is underway from these nabbed accused. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and further directed for effective policing.
