‘The recommendations coming out from knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) survey facilitated by EVA-BHN would be integrated in district health plans and will be implemented accordingly,’ said Advisor to Chief Minister for Health Khawaja Salman Rafique.
He was addressing at the dissemination of KAP survey findings organised by Policy and Strategic Planning Unit Punjab in collaboration with EVA-BHN Punjab.
He also directed to constitute a committee headed by the Director General Health services Punjab so that after two months when surveys will be re-conducted, the health indicators may show improvements.
Dr Fayyaz Ahamd, the team leader EVA-BHN Pakistan gave a brief overview of the project and its linkage with the Pakistan health and nutrition programme as citizen demand to be included in better health and nutrition.
Mark M&E Global Advisor Palladium International and Dr Asmat Ullah shared the detailed presentation of KAP survey findings. Dr Akhtar Rasheed gave overview of community based monitoring analysis of Punjab districts.
