An election tribunal Friday accepted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Aleem Khan’s plea against result of NA-122 by-election.
The tribunal has directed PML-N’s winning candidate Ayaz Sadiq to submit reply till December 22.
The plea submitted by Aleem Khan on November 26 demands to annul the NA-122 by-election as it was unfair due to alleged transfer of votes from the constituency.
After winning the by-election held on October 11 this year, Sadiq took oath as Speaker of the National Assembly for the second time on November 9.
