The Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) during a campaign rescued 12 children from the city during the current week.
The special teams conducted rescue operations in various areas of the city, including general bus stand, D-ground, Satiana Road, Allied Morh, Sargodha Road, GTS Chowk, Jarranwala Road, Jail Road, Kutchery Bazar, Gumti Chowk and Chiniot Bazaar.
The children were found begging and they were kept at the Child Protection Welfare Bureau.
